In lieu of purchasing a gift for someone, you can make an easy donation and we'll do the mailing for you. With each $10 minimum gift, a card (shown to the right) will be mailed to your designated recipient and they will know how special they are to you.

For many of our neighbors in Tarrant County this is a very difficult and perplexing economic time. The Tarrant County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is concerned about continuing to serve the needs of women and men who come to us for help. We know the economic crisis will impact them greatly and drive larger numbers into the uninsured population. Because we grant to local organizations that serve these people, we know we will be asked for additional funding beyond what we now have available. We have great faith, however, in the generosity of the American people. Moreover, we have proven confidence in the support of individuals like you who give from their hearts.

We know that in the United States almost 200,000 women will be diagnosed this calendar year with breast cancer and that over 40,000 will lose their lives due to breast cancer. Now, as never before, we are committed to doing all we can to ensure that women and men in Tarrant County have early access to life saving screening mammograms. We know that with early detection 98% of breast cancer can be successfully treated.
