We hope because....

The Tarrant County Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation has taken an active leadership role in funding grants to benefit Tarrant County families. Programs funded from affiliate fund raising events range from educating women about healthy behaviors and early detection to providing treatment services to women and men who are low income/uninsured.

The affiliate empowers women to take charge of their own health through participation in breast health seminars and outreach programs targeting underserved and hard to reach populations. 

Up to 75% of net proceeds will be used in Tarrant County....Seventy-five percent of the proceeds from affiliate fundraising events are used to fund mammograms, breast cancer treatment, education and research in Tarrant County.

A MINIMUM of 25% of net proceeds is used for national research....Twenty-five percent of the proceeds from affiliate fundraising events in Tarrant County fund national research programs to find a cure for breast cancer.
